David Dobrik is one of YouTube’s most popular personalities, known for his short-form vlogs featuring his group of friends known as the “Vlog Squad,” who usually get up to ridiculous antics like putting his assistant’s drunk texts on a billboard in Los Angeles. Although Dobrik boasts a whopping 15.7 million subscribers and a huge legacy, Logan Paul showed some apparent distaste for the vlogger’s content, as told during a similarly short vlog uploaded on February 5. Amidst Paul’s own antics (which included catching a stingray and then subsequently nearly getting impaled by its stinger), “The Maverick” brought up Dobrik’s thumbnails, noting that he seemed to use the same photo of himself for many of them. “David’s running YouTube right now,” Logan announced. “I’m about to show you boys something. Although Fox’s claims haven’t been verified, this isn’t the first time that Paul has expressed some wariness towards Dobrik either. In fact, Paul claimed that the vlogger had broken into the set of his “imPaulsive” podcast in June 2019 and was worried that he would become the “butt of a vlog joke. I don’t want that smoke, dude.” Paul even claimed to have invited Dobrik onto his podcast in 2018, although he was effectively ‘left on read,’ with the “Vlog Squad” leader instead offering a partnership with Maverick member Mike Majlak. “I go, ‘Yo, that’s interesting,’” Paul said of the matter. “‘How about you don’t make that brand partnership unless he responds to my text about being on imPaulsive?’” Although Paul was likely merely poking some lighthearted fun at a fellow content creator, the two remain on relatively rocky terms, with Dobrik having yet to respond to Logan’s public criticism of his viral videos.

Logan Paul shades David Dobrik’s viral YouTube vlogs Logan Paul, YouTube / David Dobrik, InstagramYouTuber-turned-boxing pro Logan Paul is back in the vlogging game after his split-decision loss to rival KSI — but he’s not the only internet celeb he’s got an issue with, apparently.
