At the start of 2023, YouTube investigator \u2018Coffeezilla\u2018 released a video claiming Logan Paul\u2019s cryptocurrency-based blockchain project, CryptoZoo, was his \u201cbiggest scam.\u201d As a result, Paul promised to spend $1.8 million out of his own pocket refunding investors. Nine months later, however, those who requested a refund are still waiting for their money to be returned. Now, YouTuber \u2018Kavos\u2018 has taken to Twitter to give an alleged update on the situation and apparently, the long wait on refunds is because Paul\u2019s \u201cbest offer was 5\u201310% of the losses suffered.\u201d Kavos claimed he had acquired the information from \u201creliable sources\u201d, calling Paul\u2019s offer an \u201cabsolute disgrace\u201d. \u201cSo when you hear Logan saying he\u2019s trying to \u2018rectify\u2019 the situation. He\u2019s really trying to get away with it for as little as possible,\u201d Kavos wrote. \u201cBefore this \u2018offer\u2019, Logan and his team tried to get the case dismissed. There is absolutely no accountability or sympathy for his actions.\u201d Many were outraged and perplexed by Paul\u2019s alleged \u201coffer\u201d, with one person writing; \u201cIt makes no sense, Logan makes way more money than these crypto scams ever gain him. Maybe he just hates his fans and wants to screw them over, that\u2019s the only logical reason.\u201d However, some wanted to see Kavos\u2019 \u201creliable sources\u201d before making a judgment, and others stated the victims had dug their own graves; \u201cThe loss of money is on the people who fell for it.\u201d Paul has not yet responded to these latest allegations, however, in late September, he stated that his silence was due to the \u201clegal position\u201d he was in.
