Having revealed his diagnosis to fans last year, the 23-year-old YouTube star was mostly away from the spotlight as he went through chemotherapy. During a 9-year career on YouTube, Technoblade amassed over 10 million subscribers, and was considered an innovator in the Minecraft scene, as one of the leading content creators for the game. In a devastating update on June 30, Technoblade\u2019s father appeared in one last upload, sharing news that his son had passed away. Technoblade wrote a final message to fans around the globe, which his father read out, expressing that if he had a hundred lives, he \u201cwould choose to be Technoblade again every single time. Those were the happiest years of my life.\u201d \u201cYou\u2019ve done so much for so many people, millions of people,\u201d his father told him. \u201cIf you want to, you can rest. But if you want to write one last video and you\u2019re waiting for things to get better, I would say don\u2019t wait.\u201d Technoblade used his father\u2019s laptop to write his final message, passing away just eight hours later. He was surrounded by his family through his last days. \u201cWe all said goodbye,\u201d his father added. \u201cHe was the most amazing kid anyone could ever ask for.\u201d \u201cWe, the family of Technoblade, wanted all of you to know just how much he adored and respected his fans and colleagues,\u201d a message read at the end of the YouTube video. \u201cThis past year had a lot of rough spots for our son as he battled stage four cancer. But he didn\u2019t complain, and kept using his famous strategic mind to try to beat what he knew were almost impossible odds. \u201cMy son\u2019s bravery on this path was a shining lesson to all of us who were privileged to walk it with him.\u201d Known for his Minecraft content, specifically his role in Dream\u2019s Minecraft server Dream SMP, Technoblade amassed millions of dedicated fans across social media. Minecraft players on the Hypixel Server, which he frequented, can leave a message to Technoblade\u2019s family over the next month.
