In one stream, he showed just how much he cares about his viewers as he spotted a worrying message in the middle of a busy chat and took a break from his game to check up on the person. The American was streaming on New Year\u2019s Eve when he saw the message from a viewer saying they were thinking about self-harm. He immediately stopped what he was doing and reached out to them. He said: \u201cBuddy for the love of God. Look, I saw your messages, and\u2026 it\u2019s ok. Are you ok, before we do anything, are you ok?\u201d The viewer simply wrote: \u201cI\u2019m sorry guys\u201d in the chat, but Matthew kept trying, asking them if they were ok and suggesting to call \u20181-800-273-8255\u2019 \u2013 the national helpline Mizkif then continued to support the viewer, inviting them to stay on the stream, hang out, and to join his Discord. The viewer replied not long after, saying \u201cthis is what I needed\u201d and that \u201cthis makes me happy\u201d pointing to the support of Mizkif and his community. However, the streamer also knew that it\u2019s important for someone in such a situation to get help from someone qualified and pushed for them to call the helpline. In the end, the viewer thanked Mizkif for the support and said they would call the national helpline, while also accepting his invitation to hang out.
