After announcing his plan to host monthly speedrunning challenges back in early February 2023, Moistcr1tikal\u2019s popular bounties \u201cjust kind of stopped.\u201d Viewers and gamers were left scratching their heads and wondering what had happened, but now Moistcr1tikal is clearing up any confusion with a new bounty for fans to look forward to. While he \u201creally enjoyed\u201d hosting the challenges, Moistcr1tikal explained the frequency of them began to be pushed \u201cfurther and further back\u201d when he \u201ckept wanting to grow it bigger and bigger.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s just been in this limbo for a while, but I\u2019m happy to say we\u2019re taking it out of purgatory,\u201d the YouTuber and Twitch streamer revealed. \u201cWe are dusting it off and we\u2019re doing it big.\u201d Rather than bring back the monthly challenges, Moistcr1tikal shared speedrun bounties would be reserved for \u201cbig events\u201d from now on. Therefore, the latest one will take place as a collaboration with Ludwig\u2019s charity speedrunning event, Fast50. Picking \u201cone of [his] favorite games of the year,\u201d Moistcr1tikal invited runners to become \u201cGods\u201d at Another Crab\u2019s Treasure \u2014 a game that \u201calready has an established speedrunning community.\u201d To give participants time to \u201cget familiar\u201d with the game, Moistcr1tikal\u2019s challenge has begun earlier than Fast50 and is already live now. All entries must be submitted by 5:00 PM PT \/ 8:00 PM ET on June 2. The current record is held by \u2018spicee\u2019, who managed to be the first sub 30, making the time to beat 29 minutes and 42 seconds. \u201cThe route is fantastic,\u201d Moistcr1tikal insisted. \u201cIt is super entertaining and it\u2019s a really complicated and very well-optimized route.\u201d For anyone hoping to take part, Moistcr1tikal suggested taking the time to watch Chronos\u2019 video for everything you need to know about the challenge and game.
