As a result of their fame, many creators have been victims of stalking and harassment from fans and critics \u2014 such as Twitch streamer Amouranth, whose stalker flew all the way from Estonia to Texas with the aim of breaking into her home. The latest influencer to experience an unwanted interaction with a fan happened to YouTube star Kyle \u2018Stromedy\u2019 Godfrey, an influencer who is known for his \u201ccrazy, adventurous, thriller-styled videos.\u201d Mother sparks outrage after showing up to Stromedy\u2019s house unannounced The incident sparked outrage online after a mother posted her interaction with the YouTuber to TikTok, showing herself and her sons coming up to Stromedy\u2019s doorstep \u201cunannounced,\u201d as she said in the video\u2019s caption. In the clip, Stromedy explained that he was in the middle of filming a video and would be \u201cmore than down\u201d to take pictures with the family right afterward. After asking how long he\u2019d take \u2014 to which the YouTuber replied \u201c45 minutes\u201d \u2014 the mother asked if he couldn\u2019t take the photos right then, as they were on their way to see Christmas lights. \u201cCan we just take one picture now, and then we\u2019re done?\u201d she implored. She posted the interaction \u2014 and their subsequent photo \u2014 to TikTok, but viewers weren\u2019t impressed with the mom\u2019s behavior. Many commenters accused her of \u201cstalking\u201d the YouTuber and scolded her for interrupting him in the middle of work. \u201cNever go up to their door,\u201d one user wrote. \u201cIt\u2019s disrespectful and an invasion of privacy.\u201d \u201cWow, the audacity. You\u2019re so lucky he\u2019s nice,\u201d another said. \u201cThere\u2019s something called privacy invasion,\u201d another wrote. However, the TikTok mom wasn\u2019t so easily admonished. She doubled down on her decision to take her kids to Stromedy\u2019s home in a follow-up video, where she posted a picture of her entire family wearing a shirt that says: \u201cI went to Stromedy\u2019s unannounced. Mom made me do it!\u201d Stromedy, however, seems to be relatively cool about the situation. The YouTuber left a comment on the mom\u2019s original video, saying \u201cLolll,\u201d but hasn\u2019t made any other posts about the sudden fan encounter to any of his other social media platforms.
