MontanaBlack88 explains why he\u2019s been banned from Twitch Popular Twitch streamer Marcel \u2018MontanaBlack88\u2019 Eris has received a seven-day ban from the livestreaming platform and given his side of the story. MontanaBlack88 is one of Twitch\u2019s most popular streamers, even though many may not have heard of him before. The German broadcaster doesn\u2019t have the following of Michael \u2018shroud\u2019 Grzesiek or Turner \u2018Tfue\u2019 Tenney, but he was, at one point, the most subscribed channel on the platform. That popularity, though, doesn\u2019t keep him immune for falling foul of the Twitch ban hammer \u2013 as he was given a 7-day suspension on October 18. The streamer issued a statement about the suspension on Twitter in his native language. According to Bing translate, he stated: \u201cUnfortunately, there is bad news. I Have a 7-day lock on Twitch starting tonight.\u201d He continued: \u201cI was on the discord some time ago with a few guys and I\u2019ve been out of Fifa. At that very moment, a colleague who was streaming, and I said swear words that don\u2019t belong on Twitch. I apologized directly and hoped the subject was eaten with it. As I said, I didn\u2019t know he was streaming or that I was being heard. \u201cYou can argue about the 7 days or let it be. Personally, I liked to have as little as possible on Twitch and I\u2019m sorry that I and you now have to punish myself and you with a 7-day ban.\u201d Eris even followed it up with an image of his account being unable to sign-in to Twitch for those who may not have believed him. \u201cIf I\u2019m locked for the full 7 days, we\u2019ll see you again in 7 days with Modern Warfare,\u201d he captioned the image, after noting that he could be back in less than that time.
