MrBeast\u2019s content is arguably some of the most popular on the site, with his \u201cfree car dealership\u201d video sitting at number one on trending a day after posting \u2013 but such popular content is bound to birth imitators. In fact, one of Donaldson\u2019s buddies pointed out a blatant copycat in a Twitter post in early May, noting that YouTuber \u201cMorgz\u201d had obviously copied a slew of his videos. Hmmmm\u2026:thinking_face:@MrBeastYT pic.twitter.com\/8OpP16tCXa \u2014 Chandler Hallow (@ChandlerHallow) May 16, 2019 While MrBeast responded to the callout with a lighthearted post, the issue was brought up again in an August 29 video \u2013 this time, by another member of his crew, who jokingly offered to box the copycat. \u201cHe must have watched a Morgz video,\u201d his friend said, after being told that another crew member was currently puking. \u201cI\u2019m going to England, Morgz, come on. 1v1 me, boxing match, let\u2019s go!\u201d MrBeast himself remained staunchly neutral on the subject, replying, \u201cI have nothing to do with this\u201d in response to his friend\u2019s challenge. (Timestamp: 6:50 for mobile viewers) This latest response from the YouTuber follows his previous statements on the subject, when friend Chandler Hallow pointed out the copycat three months ago. \u201cImitation is the sincerest form of flattery,\u201d MrBeast wrote \u2013 but not everyone was satisfied with his response, with FaZe co-owner Ricky Banks claiming that YouTube\u2019s \u201cGood Samaritan\u201d was \u201ctoo nice.\u201d \u201cTrue, but not everything I do is original, either,\u201d MrBeast replied. \u201cTons of people copy me everyday, but it would be hypocritical if I were to get mad at them.\u201d True but not everything I do is original either.
