Nadeshot tells hilarious story about hiding weed during swatting at old OpTic house Matt \u2018Nadeshot\u2019 Haag, formerly of OpTic Gaming and now CEO of 100 Thieves, retold the story of a swatting incident at the old OpTic team house, were he fortunately hid all the weed in the house just in time. Back as part of OpTic as a professional player, Nadeshot was one of five people who moved into the team house in 2013, along with Seth \u2018Scump\u2019 Abner, Will \u2018BigTymeR\u2019 Johnson and Joey \u2018MerK\u2019 Deluca (later replaced on the roster by Jordan \u2018JKap\u2019 Kaplan). The house was a hub of creativity as well as competitive Call of Duty, and helped boost OpTic Gaming\u2019s already significant fanbase on social media, Twitch and YouTube. However, what was shown from the house was only what the players included in their videos and streams, and now, years later, the group sat down to discuss some of the lesser known tales. Nadeshot reveals for the first time publicly that he used to smoke weed, as did the other members of the house, and at one point had so much that the house became a mess. He explains that with so much mess caused by their habits, Nadeshot got \u201cgrossed out\u201d and tidied all of the equipment and weed away, which couldn\u2019t have been timed better \u2013 \u201cThat\u2019s the night that we got swatted, and the house reeked of weed \u2013 we knew that they smelled weed, and they knew that we knew.\u201d Watch below at the 1:07:00 mark. Scump even recalls one of the police officers blatantly sniff as soon as they walked in, making clear they knew exactly what they were smelling. \u201cThe next like five hours of that night, we were up to like four in the morning trying to figure out should we flush this weed down the toilet\u201d, Nadeshot explains, saying they were concerned the police might even come back with a warrant to search the property. Looking back on it, Nadeshot says he hasn\u2019t smoked weed in over four years, because it would instigate panic attacks for him, but is a believer in the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes.
