On August 9, a video was posted to Twitter showing a ginger-haired kid \u201cpowering up\u201d before running at a wall and performing a backflip. The clip appears to be from a high school of sorts, although the location isn\u2019t clear. Following the flip, the kid, along with another guy in Naruto or Dragon Ball Z-like attire, perform a Kamehameha \u2013 the signature move of Dragon Ball\u2019s main protagonist, Goku. In a caption, the uploader wrote: \u201cYou weren\u2019t bullied because you watched anime. You were bullied for this.\u201d You weren’t bullied because you watched anime. Nonetheless, the bullying attempt backfired in a huge way. The video itself isn\u2019t actually new, having been on YouTube since at least 2017, but that didn\u2019t stop it from spreading like wildfire. In just three days, it amassed over 4.8 million views and plenty of comments from fans voicing their support for the anime kid. \u201cThat\u2019s more impressive than something to pick on someone over. I don\u2019t know anyone that can backflip off a wall into a hero landing like that,\u201d one user remarked. \u201cSee how he landed that flip? Most people couldn\u2019t do that if they tried,\u201d another added.
