The \u2018Freaky Girl\u2019 rapper was surprised to find herself trending on Twitter, due to rumors made about her on a fake Instagram account. The Instagram account, claiming to be Minaj\u2019s former assistant, made multiple harmful accusations against the hitmaker on their Instagram story. \u201cI am Onika ex assistant who she fired who for absolutely no proof of fraud with her bank account,\u201d they shared. \u201cI\u2019m exposing all files I have from working for her. Along with the voice messages she sent me regarding many different people,\u201d they continued. The account then went on to accuse the rapper of sending \u201c$75,000\u201d to put her upcoming single, \u2018Freaky Girls,\u2019 on the chart. They also alleged that she owed $173,000,000 to the IRS. Minaj did not hesitate to respond to these rumors, as she hopped on to Instagram Live to address them. Nicki Minaj responds to allegations \u201cEvery day I learn that y\u2019all getting dumber and f*cking dumber,\u201d the \u2018Queen of Rap\u2019 told viewers. \u201cThe other day I was on Twitter and I saw this whole fanbase, b*tch.\u201d She continued: \u201cI am mind blown that people are this f*cking dumb, that people are really believing that I got somebody that work for me and now they spilling tea.\u201d Minaj was seemingly surprised that anyone would believe the Instagram account was real. \u201cThat people are really believing that I got somebody that work for me and now they spilling tea.
