NICKMERCS teases \u201chuge, huge move\u201d amid YouTube\u2019s latest Twitch poaching spree YouTube: NICKMERCSNick \u201cNICKMERCS\u201d Kolcheff looks set to drop a major bombshell on his streaming future soon, with the Call of Duty superstar teasing that he\u2019s been working on a \u201chuge, huge move\u201d for his career right in the middle of YouTube\u2019s latest high-profile Twitch poaching raids. Valkyrae, CouRage, Dr Disrespect, TimTheTatman, DrLupo: the list of Twitch stars defecting to YouTube \u2014 some voluntarily, others not so much \u2014 continues to grow. And now, it looks like NICKMERCS may join the exodus. The 30-year-old star didn\u2019t name drop YouTube exactly, but he did tease \u201cthe biggest deal of [his] life,\u201d which he had just recently inked up. The streamer\u2019s hints come nearly two years after he put pen to paper on his original Twitch partnership, which understands was a two-year deal. \u201cI can\u2019t tell you guys too much, but I just signed the biggest deal of my life\u2026 the biggest deal,\u201d he revealed on Sep. 2. \u201cThis is like, the kind of deal that\u2019s not about you anymore. It\u2019s about your family, your friends, all that sh*t, you know? \u201cSo, we\u2019re making moves. Huge, huge moves.\u201d NICKMERCS first joined Twitch \u2014 then called Justin TV \u2014 in late 2010. Since then, his popularity on the streaming platform has ballooned, and he now boasts 6.2 million followers, 69k subscribers, and regularly rakes in 50k concurrent viewers. There is, of course, every chance he still stays with Twitch too. Two years ago, when he signed on to appear exclusively on Twitch amid the original streaming wars, he described staying on one website as \u201cvery special.\u201d \u201cI\u2019ve been streaming on Twitch for seven or eight years now, almost as long as it\u2019s existed,\u201d he said in 2019. \u201cI\u2019d love to be able to stay on one platform. [It\u2019s] almost like staying on the same professional sports team, throughout my career.\u201d The relevant section begins at 13:27:09 in the broadcast below. TimTheTatman and DrLupo echoed similar sentiments about Twitch during their multi-million dollar 2019 signings, however. Tim Behtar claimed he \u201ccouldn\u2019t see himself anywhere else,\u201d and DrLupo said the Amazon-owned platform gave him the best \u201cfinancial security\u201d compared to any streaming rivals. NICKMERCS already boasts 4.04 million followers on his main YouTube channel. He regularly hits between 100,000 and 200,000 views on video uploads. Kolcheff went on to describe the deal as \u201ca beefer.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s a big one\u2026 a big contract,\u201d the Twitch streamer continued. \u201cIt\u2019s good, great things.
