James Charles has been caught up in a myriad of controversies throughout the years. It all started when Tati Westbrook claimed he used his fame to manipulate men\u2019s sexualities. Then, it escalated even further after he was accused of messaging an underage fan. Since then, he\u2019s been through the wringer. In addition to being effectively \u2018canceled\u2019 for a while, he was also demonetized on YouTube and dropped by Morphe. And even though he\u2019s back, people still have mixed feelings about him. However, Noah Beck isn\u2019t one of those people. GQ asked him about the state of his friendship with Charles. He had nothing but kinds words to say about him and slammed \u201cclose-minded\u201d people for trying to cancel him. \u201cAs much as I want to be open about [the situation], there\u2019s not much I can say because people are so closed-minded,\u201d he said. \u201cI haven\u2019t spoken with James about it. I haven\u2019t been like, \u2018yo, did you do it?\u2019 I\u2019m not going to do that.\u201d Still, he claimed that he knows him and what he\u2019s like as a person, implying that whatever happened doesn\u2019t define him. And he\u2019s confident that it\u2019s \u201cjust a matter of time\u201d before he\u2019s back because \u201cno one ever gets canceled.\u201d View this post on Instagram It\u2019s not the first time he\u2019s defended him. Beck admitted he still \u201cloves\u201d Charles when the allegations first surfaced. He even expressed his support of a possible return in May 2021. Not everyone will agree with his take on the situation.
