YouTube\u2019s number one individual content creator PewDiePie decided to weigh in on the incident during his latest broadcast. The Swedish entertainer was stunned by the situation, and explained why Mixer\u2019s closure was \u201cinteresting timing.\u201d PewDiePie shocked by Dr Disrespect\u2019s Twitch ban For his July 8 broadcast, the YouTuber brought back his popular show PewNews to tackle the latest drama. During the segment, the Swedish star reacted to Dr Disrespect\u2019s ban on Twitch. \u201cThree months ago, Twitch were ready to put down the money as an investment on this guy. And now he\u2019s permanently banned? That\u2019s crazy!\u201d he exclaimed. He then said that the streamer probably regretted not signing with Mixer.\u201dDr Disrespect gotta to be so mad he didn\u2019t sign with Mixer. Jesus Christ, dude! He signed with Twitch hoping for the future, instead of grabbing the big money\u2026 \u201cI\u2019m better off signing with Twitch,\u201d I bet that\u2019s what he thought. Oh God, it hurts!\u201d he joked. The Swede then pointed out that streamers Michael \u2018shroud\u2019 Grzesiek and Tyler \u2018Ninja\u2019 Blevins both \u201cgot bank for no work\u201d after Mixer closed down. While watching Doc\u2019s Twitch deal announcement video that was posted in March, he joked, \u201cHe ain\u2019t laughing now!\u201d The Swedish star was floored by Twitch\u2019s lack of information on the decision, and was shocked when he read a report that they wouldn\u2019t be commenting on it further. \u201cWhat!? Why not!? That\u2019s nuts. He\u2019s done. That\u2019s crazy! That\u2019s so scary! What did he do!?\u201d Pewds then highlighted the timing of Mixer shutting down and his ban. \u201cThe timing of Mixer shutting down to Dr Disrespect being banned is an interesting timing, at least. I don\u2019t think that\u2019s the causing factor, but it\u2019s definitely an incentive. Mixer shut down, so he can\u2019t go over there. So if we ban him, we don\u2019t have to f**king pay him,\u201d he said. Despite the possible explanation, PewDiePie went on to say that the theory doesn\u2019t make any sense either. He then exclaimed, \u201cThere must be a serious reason why. They must have something to back this up!\u201d before joking, \u201cI guess we\u2019ll just have to find what happens in court.\u201d While the entertainer has been hesitant to bring back his PewNews segment in the past, he finally decided to re-launch a live version of it for his fans.
