One such person is popular YouTuber ‘Ali-A,’ who transitioned from being one of the biggest names in Call of Duty content creation to becoming a force in the Fortnite section of YouTube gaming. However, ‘Ali-A’ has recently been under scrutiny by many for using a tactic known as ‘clickbait,’ which essentially means that he is using certain titles and thumbnails to mislead people into clicking on his videos. The latest to roast him is fellow YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg, whose 62 million subscribers are the most on the website. On May 14th, PewDiePie released a video in which he analyzes and subsequently makes fun of the various instances of Ali-A’s clickbaiting tactics. Right off the bat, the video starts with the same classic intro that Ali-A uses in his videos, along with an edited clip in which he confesses something about himself in a video. The video then continues with PewDiePie starting his spiel about the state of Fortnite content on YouTube. “A few weeks ago I made a video on Fortnite and nothing has changed, basically it’s still the same. The absolute state of YouTube gaming is very much stil ‘aaaaaaaaa.’ The YouTuber then goes on to look at the thumbnails of Ali-A’s videos, many of which display facial expressions of surprise and anticipation. “I love these thumbnails, they’re so good. It’s basically the SOI boy equivalent of a thumbnail.” He continues by taking a look at two videos which indicate that various superheros are in Fortnite, which they are obviously not. “You know here we have a video called ‘The Superman Challenge.’ Wow! Superman is in Fortnite?! Oh you best watch 25 minutes to find out! Oh, oh I guess there isn’t. Oh what?! The Flash is in Fortnite? Nope, no it isn’t. The Hulk?! The Hulk is in Fortnite! I must watch this 22 minute and 35 seconds video right now! He goes on to do the same thing with some of the videos that use the “What’s inside ________?!” variety of clickbait titles and images. “If we’re talking about what’s inside things. Here we have ‘Opening the bunker, What’s inside?’ What I want to know is what’s inside Ali-A’s hat? I mean, he’s wearing it in every single video. He must be hiding something underneath there. Ah, what could it be? I have some ideas, but I will keep them to myself.” All in all, PewDiePie believes that the reason why so many YouTubers, like Ali-A, are resorting to this level is because that is the best level of content they can deliver. “This is not clickbait guys. This is what the content is. It’s reflecting the content.” – You can watch the entirety of PewDiePie’s video down below, or on his official YouTube channel.

PewDiePie Destroys Ali-A in a Video About Fortnite Clickbait The fact that Fortnite: Battle Royale has become such a popular video game has led many popular gaming content creators to use it as a major source of content for their videos and streams.
