PewDiePie gave his true thoughts on the matter in a Q & A video on October 21, where he admitted that T Series\u2019 rapidly increasing subscriber rate isn\u2019t a major point of contention to him. \u201cI don\u2019t really care about T Series,\u201d he stated. \u201cI genuinely don\u2019t. I think that if YouTube does shift in a way that\u2019s more corporate\u2026 something else will take its place.\u201d Rather than taking issue with T Series and YouTube\u2019s ever-growing shift towards corporate involvement, PewDiePie instead expressed concern around YouTubers \u2018shilling\u2019 corporate products in their videos. \u201cI think what bothers me more\u2026 is YouTubers shilling corporate,\u201d he stated. \u201c\u2026buying into this image that companies want them to be for the sake of being lifted up by them. It\u2019s a great business move\u2026 but to me, it\u2019s inauthentic.\u201d He then went on to state that he sees YouTubers\u2019 authentic connections to their fans as a major selling point for the platform, and feels that the site\u2019s greatest issue lies in its leadership. \u201cNo one really respects the website,\u201d he explained. \u201cA lot of the decisions and changes haven\u2019t been connected with the community.\u201d PewDiePie mentioned this very issue in his video detailing the release of Logan Paul\u2019s YouTube Red movie, where he criticized the platform\u2019s apparent double-standard in regards to the behavior of its creators.
