After seven years of making videos and vlogging her exotic trips with husband PewDiePie, Marzia announced she was halting her content creating endeavors, claiming that she felt like a “fraud” and wanted to pursue her own career path, rather than following in her hubby’s footsteps on YouTube. “It’s about needing to find my path, because for a long time I felt like I was following someone else’s,” she said, referencing her relationship with Kjellberg. “I think it’s about time that I give myself a chance with something else.” Over a year later, fans are comfortable enough to poke fun at her departure from the website — a few memes of which popped up in an April 13 episode of PewDiePie’s LWIAY series. In fact, news of her exodus from the platform went viral online, with fans reaching out across social media in support of a content creator who’d always appeared alongside one of YouTube’s biggest stars with a peek behind the curtain into their private lives.

PewDiePie responds to fans memeing Marzia’s departure from YouTube PewDiePie, Marzia – YouTubeMarzia Bisognin, wife of YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie Kjellberg,’ notably left the platform after seven years in October 2018 — and while it’s been some time since she stopped creating content, jokes about her departure may not be entirely welcome.
