PewDiePie addressed a statement made by the dance\u2019s creator, \u2018Backpack Kid,\u2019 during a video on January 6, where the \u2018floss\u2019 originator expressed some distaste at not being invited to help break the world record for having the most people breaking down in the dance at one time. American talk show \u2018Live with Kelly and Ryan\u2019 broke the record in September of 2018, with 349 people in total performing the dance for one minute. However, Ninja set out to break that record on New Year\u2019s Eve, asking for 1 million people to bust a move with him \u2013 despite the inclement weather. PewDiePie went on to throw shade towards Ninja\u2019s plan, calling his goal a \u201cbad idea.\u201d \u201cThey were trying to beat the floss record?\u201d PewDiePie asked incredulously, laughing. \u201cBut no one did it?
