PewDiePie shades Lilly Singh over \u2018Fahrenheit 451\u2019 movie PewDiePie, YouTube \/ Lilly Singh, BBCYouTube\u2019s most subscribed creator, Felix \u2018PewDiePie\u2019 Kjellberg, continues to take shots at fellow YouTuber Lilly Singh \u2013 this time, over her involvement in HBO Films\u2019 \u2018Fahrenheit 451.\u2019 PewDiePie uploaded a video on December 29 where he discussed the 72 books he\u2019d read throughout 2018, including Ray Bradbury\u2019s classic novel, \u2018Fahrenheit 451.\u2019 Pewds wasn\u2019t too impressed with the title, comparing it to Aldous Huxley\u2019s \u2018Brave New World,\u2019 and even threw shade toward the book\u2019s 2018 film adaptation \u2013 particularly due to Lilly Singh\u2019s involvement in the production. \u201cThis is the one that\u2019s going to get a movie adapted to it,\u201d PewDiePie said of the novel. \u201cI think Lilly Singh is even acting in it, so it\u2019s gonna be great,\u201d he continued, sarcastically raising his hands in mock excitement. His video went on to showcase \u2018Fahrenheit 451\u2019s\u2019 poor rating on Rotten Tomatoes, where it received an overall score of 5\/10 and an audience score of 23%. Pewds then showed footage from Singh\u2019s special with HBO discussing her role in the film, followed by a clip from one of Pewd\u2019s previous videos where he called her an \u201cidiot\u201d and a \u201ccrybaby.\u201d This isn\u2019t the first time Pewds has thrown shade at Singh; he slammed the YouTuber in early December for criticizing Forbe\u2019s list of 2018\u2019s top 10 highest earning YouTubers, which she decried for not featuring a single female creator in its ranks.
