The Star Wars X Fortnite collaboration is the latest in a long line of ambitious crossovers, as Fortnite uses its standing in popular culture to promote movies, in exchange for awesome in-game content. We have already seen crossovers with John Wick, Avengers: Endgame and Borderlands 3. The crossover with Star Wars precedes the release of The Rise of Skywalker on December 19, and has seen a plethora of new content added to Fortnite. Pokimane and TSM Myth were two of the biggest Twitch streamers to broadcast their reactions, summarizing them in a December 15 YouTube video. Pokimane explained that she found the event \u201canticlimactic\u201d at first, before she realised that the event has led to a limited-time mode and other in-game content, such as the infamous lightsabers. \u201cI feel that there\u2019s no way you engineer all that just for five minutes,\u201d she said. \u201cIt felt, anticlimactic.
