On June 3, Pokimane switched from her normal stream games of League of Legends and Fortnite Battle Royale, to try the notoriously rage-inducing \u2018Getting Over it with Bennett Foddy\u2019. The platformer game challenges players to climb up the levels using a hammer, and if the player falls they get reset, as happened to Pokimane, sending viewers into hysterics as she smashed her desk in rage. The clip was widely shared on social media, and fans laughed at Pokimane\u2019s expense, but she took it her stride, explaining she was just \u201cacting mad\u201d for the sake of entertainment. On her next stream, Anys revealed that a fan had messaged her on Twitter, and tried to give her support for the \u201cbullying\u201d she was receiving over the clip. \u201cSomebody legitimately thought that I felt like I was getting bullied,\u201d Pokimane explains, \u201cand they DM\u2019d me, and were like \u2018I\u2019m so sorry about what everyone\u2019s saying, I want you to know that I\u2019m with you.\u201d The fan also apparently tried to warn the streamer about an upcoming jump scare in the game, and told her to \u201cbe careful.\u201d \u201cHe was a little white knight,\u201d Pokimane joked. \u201cI was like \u2018no, no, I just act mad, I\u2019m not actually mad\u2019 but his heart was in a good place.\u201d Her channel has over 3 million followers, the most of any female streamer on Twitch and top 10 overall, and so there are bound to be some fans who support her through anything, even if it\u2019s not really needed.
