RiceGum shades Jake Paul during Ace Family $100,000 basketball event RiceGum, YouTube \/ Jake Paul, InstagramPopular YouTuber Bryan \u2018RiceGum\u2019 Le fired some not-so-subtle shots toward social media star Jake Paul during the Ace Family charity basketball event, which threw down on January 11. RiceGum faced off against Paul and other internet celebs in a test of skill to determine who would win a whopping $100,000 for charity of their choice. In order to take the prize, the YouTubers had to be the first contestant to make ten baskets in a row without dropping a shot \u2013 which proved to be quite a feat for those participating in the challenge. Jake Paul ended up scoring the second seat in the lineup \u2013 which placed him right next to RiceGum\u2019s spot on the court. RiceGum commented on their close proximity during his vlog of the experience, where he threw some playful shade toward Paul. \u201cI don\u2019t know why he put me next to this guy,\u201d RiceGum said of Ace Family patriarch Austin McBroom\u2019s methods, after which the camera cut to a closeup of Paul distractedly looking into the camera. \u201cJake Paul \u2013 did you do this on purpose?\u201d McBroom teased over the mic. Despite McBroom\u2019s teasing, the two YouTube rivals were seen making friendly conversation shortly thereafter, after which RiceGum found himself out of the running upon missing a shot in the lineup. In the end, none of the invited YouTubers completed the challenge; McBroom\u2019s buddy took the prize after being gifted an honorary spot in the competition, managing to make all ten shots thanks to his career in college basketball.
