He\u2019s now heaped praise on YouTuber Logan Paul a couple of months after his WrestleMania debut. Logan Paul shocked the pro wrestling world when he started to appear on WWE broadcasts, but even more so when he made his debut alongside The Miz at WrestleMania, taking on Rey and Dominik Mysterio. He impressed even the most die-hard fans \u2014 a hard achievement for any wrestler, let alone someone who\u2019s never even performed in the ring. Best of all though, he made some of the greats of the sport stop and appreciate his talent, including Mr. WrestleMania himself, Shawn Michaels. Speaking with UK podcast host Brian Davis on his True Geordie podcast, Davis \u2014 who is often more friendly with YouTubers and other influencers than pro wrestlers \u2014 asked what Michaels thought of Logan\u2019s debut. He said: \u201cAbsolutely, I was [impressed] as well. I\u2019m glad you brought it up, because that was \u2026 Look, it\u2019s always a question to people when we bring in celebrities from the outside, and now I will say I think the celebrities really make a real effort to make sure they adjust to our sport well. \u201cHe did a fantastic job. I will say this: I wasn\u2019t that surprised by it because if you\u2019ve watched him in boxing, and almost everything he does, he jumps into it, full board. He\u2019s 100% committed to everything he does. So I wasn\u2019t surprised by it but, at the same time, he really did do a fantastic job.\u201d Timestamp 8:10 Michaels went on to explain how hard it can be to step into the ring after taking a big break \u2014 let alone doing it for the first time, without getting regular reps in between the ropes.
