The company has taken the app by storm thanks to its \u2018secret\u2019 drinks that prompted coffee lovers across the globe to seek out the mysterious off-menu bevs to share on social media. Now, a barista for the chain is going viral for opening customers\u2019 eyes about the secrets behind their favorite drinks. TikTok user \u2018 Swazey\u2019 is a barista who often uploads videos showing herself making drinks, discussing what\u2019s on Starbucks\u2019 seasonal menu, and other such content. However, her video showing off \u201cthings you might not have known about Starbucks\u201d has racked up over 2 million views \u2014 and commenters are surprised by what they\u2019re seeing. TikTok star Swazey clarified that a \u2018Macchiato\u2019 means the espresso shots go on top of the drink. She then claimed that their blonde espresso is made with more caffeine, and that their nitro cold brew is infused with nitrogen (because of course it is). That\u2019s not all; she says the chain\u2019s Caramel Macchiato is actually made with vanilla, and is called as such due to the caramel drizzle in the cup. But perhaps the most shocking claim in her video is that Starbucks triple-filters its water with reverse osmosis \u2014 something that commenters can\u2019t seem to get over. Swazey has made an entire series out of this concept \u2014 where she revealed that customers can get hot drinks at a \u201ckid\u2019s temperature\u201d so they can be consumed right away.
