Irrespective of claims from FaZe Clan’s Ricky Banks, who suggested that the company has only taken $60,000 from Tfue since he first joined, Summit1g says that even if they don’t have bad intentions, there is still a legal issue with his contract that could harm him later down the line. “It doesn’t matter,” Summit1g said, responding to suggestions from FaZe that Tfue has been keeping a large percentage of his earnings to-date. “The point is he has a contract signed so he can still get that taken from him later.” “Brand deals featuring the gamer that exist on gamer or company’s content creation platforms or social media sites. You have to get out of that contract as quick as possible, now that you’re making millions of dollars.” FaZe Banks claimed that the organization had been trying to negotiate a new contract with the player for quite some time, during his reaction video, and Summit1g made it clear during the video above that he believes it would be in Tfue’s best interests to figure out a new deal, or – at the very least – “get the fuck out of that one.” Ninja and Dr Disrespect react to Tfue suing FaZe Clan Summit1g isn’t the only streamer to have commented on the legal battle, by the way. Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Dr Disrespect have also given their take on the situation, with Ninja explaining that Tfue would never have been able to compete at events such as Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem‘s Friday Fortnite tournaments, without being associated with FaZe. Dr Disrespect also offered to put Tfue in contact with “his people” to find a deal that suits him more than the one he is currently tied to with FaZe Clan.
