Summit1g is a veteran of livestreaming on Twitch, and remains one of the most popular to this day, even enjoying a sharp increase in popularity again over late 2018 into 2019. In fact, Summit is reportedly the most subscribed streamer on Twitch as of January 15 2019, according to stat tracking website Twitch Stats. But, with such a large fanbase, there is always unfortunately going to be some bad apples, and Summit1g has reported to his viewers that one internet user has made him fear for his life. During a stream on January 14, Lazar explained to his viewers \u201cSomebody gave me a death threat boys, so I\u2019m just going to make sure I\u2019m staying in doors for the next few days.\u201d \u201cI\u2019ve contacted the police, they\u2019re working with Twitch. that\u2019s all I can really do.\u201d He also states that he will be getting some extra peace of mind with some security outside. Summit1g is not overreacting with these measures either, as it would not be the first time that popular streamers have had their lives endangered.
