Tana Mongeau’s second MTV reality series, “No Filter,” is currently airing on YouTube, with the content creator also teasing an upcoming book and even a new song. With so much in the works, it comes as little surprise that the star’s immune system has come under fire — this time, in a completely unexpected way. Mongeau shocked fans by posting a photo of her eye to Twitter on March 5, which was incredibly swollen and puffy, showing symptoms not unlike the classic effects of pink eye. Despite the jarring nature of her condition, Mongeau managed to poke fun at herself, joking about a headline written by Metro Entertainment concerning the health issue. “‘Tana Mongeau suffers horrendous swollen eye as humour stays intact’ is my favorite headline i’ve ever read about myself to date,” she Tweeted. “Tana Mongeau suffers horrendous swollen eye as humour stays in tact” is my favorite headline i’ve ever read about myself to date https://t.co/bNkPl1HC5T — Tana Mongeau (@tanamongeau) March 6, 2020 That’s not all: in a series of now-deleted Instagram stories, the MTV starlet claimed that the swelling was, indeed, pink eye, and explained that her eyes often swell up when she gets stressed. “…I have a flight in 30, but my eye looks like this because every time I stress out, my eye swells,” she said. “I was stressed because I had pink eye, but now it’s gone, so now I just have a swollen eye. It’s super awesome.” However, she later clarified that the swelling wasn’t strictly related to pink eye; instead, the issue stemmed from problems with her sinuses, as the star explained in a Tweet a day later. “I just feel the need to let the world know what’s wrong with my eye is from my sinuses,” she clarified. “Not letting people nut in my eye.
