Following a video uploaded to her channel on December 29 discussing the separation, Mongeau\u2019s channel has been dormant, with no videos uploaded in almost three weeks. On January 15, Mongeau addressed her disappearance from the platform, apologizing to fans who have been anxiously waiting for her next upload and explaining the reasons behind her sabbatical. \u201cSorry for how long I haven\u2019t uploaded,\u201d she wrote on Twitter. \u201cIt won\u2019t happen again this year. In the post on December 4, the 21-year-old said she wanted to \u201cadvocate for authenticity and mental health awareness,\u201d and that she felt she was \u201csuccumbing to the pressure of the highlight reel\u201d that comes with being a star online.
