As everyone looks to wrap up this year\u2019s best moments, others gathered together to recognize some of the worst moments to come out of the social media space in 2023. Enter H3H3\u2019s \u2018Steamies\u2019 Awards, which had award categories for \u2018Spiciest Drama,\u2019 \u2018Worst Brainrot Discourse,\u2019 and even \u2018Worst Apology.\u2019 The Awards took place on the evening of December 17 for a packed house at the Dolby Theater. Hosting the evening\u2019s festivities were Ethan and Hila Klein, alongside Jeff Wittek, Tana Mongeau, and even that famous Logan Paul lookalike. Plenty pointed out that Mongeau kept talking over her other hosts, on top of making certain comments and jokes about self-harm that made some members in the audience uncomfortable. \u201cThis is one of the biggest trainwrecks I\u2019ve ever witnessed live on the internet,\u201d one viewer said on Reddit. \u201cBless her heart when she wakes up tomorrow.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s so horrible,\u201d another said. \u201cI was so excited for the live Steamies, but I literally cannot watch anymore. They need to get her off stage for her own good and the good of everyone in the audience.\u201d Yet another fan reached out to Tana on Twitter\/X, writing, \u201cTana, love you so much, but please stop. You\u2019re ruining the show.\u201d It wasn\u2019t long before Tana addressed the criticism. \u201cOkay, I\u2019ll shut the f*ck up,\u201d she replied to the Twitter user. Tana followed up her response with another post, writing, \u201cI\u2019m in trouble, idk how to do this.
