The Fortnite professional had been in Miami as a part of Super Bowl weekend to take part in the Twitch Rivals Streamer Bowl competition alongside Arizona Cardinals\u2019 quarterback Kyler Murray. The pair had a number of eye-catching performances in the event but failed to capture the overall victory. Yet, once they had wrapped up playing Fortnite, Tfue shocked fans by revealing that he\u2019d been robbed for the first time on January 31st and then once again a day later. While he tweeted that he was \u2018fine\u2019 after the first robbery, in which he lost his watch, the Fortnite star gave fans a bit more insight into his wild weekend when he hopped back on stream for a short broadcast. Explaining how he ended up losing the watch, Tfue noted that he was waiting for an Uber when he was approached by three \u2018kids\u2019 \u2013 with one of them grabbing his shoulder. After a back-and-forth exchange of words, the streamer realized that one had been going for his watch. \u201cHe\u2019s got two hands on my watch and he\u2019s just pulling it like with all his force, and I\u2019m like trying to pull my wrist away because I don\u2019t want him to f**king take my watch and all I feel is the clip on the watch just bend and break off,\u201d Tfue said. The streamer added that the \u2018kids\u2019 in question quickly fled the scene after they were able to get the watch off his wrist, though he didn\u2019t pursue them seeing as he was pretty drunk. Tfue continued: \u201cHonestly, like, I was so drunk at that moment that I was like \u2018f**k it, I don\u2019t even care, I\u2019m not going to chase this kid down, it\u2019s not even worth it\u2019 and like, honestly, it was probably a good thing I was hammered because if I was sober I probably would have chased those kids down and probably been in jail.\u201d As for his phone, Tenney didn\u2019t quite have the blow-by-blow details as he did with the loss of his watch. Instead, while waiting for his Uber, he tried to give his pockets a pat to make sure his wallet and phone were still there but couldn\u2019t feel the phone. \u201cI\u2019m like freaking the f**k out. I\u2019m like call it, he tries calling it. My phone isn\u2019t dead, it goes straight to voicemail. I\u2019m like, I got f**king pickpocketed \u2013 that\u2019s the first thing I think,\u201d Tfue said. \u201cObviously, if I\u2019d lost it, which I doubt I did, I\u2019ll call it and it\u2019ll ring but it went straight to voicemail which means somebody turned it off. So, obviously I knew someone gripped it, turned the phone off and put it in their pocket.\u201d While it\u2019s obviously a terrible experience for the streamer \u2013 being robbed not once, but twice \u2013 recovering his phone or just getting a new one is somewhat easier than replacing his watch. Whether or not he\u2019ll be able to do so is unknown, but at least he wasn\u2019t too badly shaken up by the experience and could give his fans a bit more insight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
