Content creator, Elijah, known on TikTok as Big E the Insurance Guy, shared a video of him calling a girl he went on a date to Chipotle with, asking her to Venmo him the amount of her meal. \u201cThis past weekend I went on a Hinge date to Chipotle and I paid for this girl\u2019s burrito,\u201d Elijah said in the viral video with over 393,000 views. \u201cShe got steak and guac in it, but we\u2019re not going on a second date so I\u2019m gonna call her and see if she will pay me back for it.\u201d Elijah then called the date and recorded the audio for his 90,000 followers. \u201cHey Lucy, Elijah from Goodman Family Insurance and Chipotle this past Saturday. How\u2019re you doing?\u201d he asked after she picked up the phone. \u201cSo listen, I was thinking about this past weekend, and when we went to Chipotle, I paid for your burrito which you got steak and guac for which, you know, is fine,\u201d he said. He continued, \u201cbut since we established we\u2019re not going on a second date, I was wondering if maybe I could text you my Venmo and you could just kinda pay me back for that meal.\u201d Elijah then pulls out the receipt, while Lucy says, \u201cUhh, yeah, I mean I guess.\u201d \u201cAppreciate it Lucy. Yours was roughly like $13 \u2014 it was a little over that but I\u2019m cool with 13,\u201d he said reading the receipt. \u201cOK, yeah I guess I can do that,\u201d she concluded. \u201cAwesome, I\u2019ll Venmo\u2026I\u2019ll text you my Venmo now,\u201d Elijah said, before thanking her and ending the call. Viewers divided over TikToker asking date to pay back for Chipotle In the comments section of the video, he added, \u201cI\u2019m not proud of this but money is tight right now.\u201d TikTok users had mixed responses in the comments, with some believing it was all a joke. \u201cProbably will be a second date now after she saw you were in fact a decision maker,\u201d one person joked. \u201cCost of doing business brother. Write it off,\u201d another quipped. \u201cBro got a refund,\u201d a user commented. \u201cThere hasn\u2019t been a second date in his lifetime,\u201d someone else wrote.
