Jovi Pena, a popular TikToker with over 120,000 followers, made the allegations public on January 6, after stating \u201cI asked for help and It\u2019s not going anywhere so I\u2019ve decided to take it to social media.\u201d She accused a man named \u201cDjigui Seck\u201d of the assault, but states that he was a \u201ccomplete stranger\u201d to her at the time of the alleged attack on January 1. Pena states that she was invited to the party by Kai Cenat, and when she informed him of her decision to leave, Kai instead advised her to sleep in one of the rooms upstairs. \u201cHe told me I\u2019d be safer upstairs since I was drunk and nobody would bother me,\u201d Pena said. \u201cHowever after I fell asleep since I thought I was safe due to their being security and Kai\u2019s confirmation.\u201d Following the alleged rape, Pena says she \u201ccalled texted \u2018my friend\u2019 who invited but I got no answer and I was told by the rapist that he left which I found out later to be a lie.\u201d Pena also shared text messages between herself and someone named Kai Cenat on her phone, where she outlined what happened and sent images of Kai Cenat and the individual she accused of rape together, claiming they were friends. \u201cI sent him pictures of the person and got no response about it until I got hard evidence that they knew each other and even then I didn\u2019t get a name,\u201d Pena said in the caption. In a follow-up tweet, Pena shared an image of a rape kit, stating that she had completed one. \u201cI don\u2019t believe Kai is to blame,\u201d she continued, \u201chowever he was involved whether you agree or not it\u2019s just a fact. He\u2019s the only person I knew at this party and he\u2019s the one who told me to go upstairs where everything occurred.\u201d Early on January 7, Kai Cenat went live on Twitch to address the allegations and clear his name. Among other things, he explained that he went straight to his legal team when he heard about the allegations. They instructed him to avoid talking to anyone, hence why he did not respond to Pena or address the situation previously.
