Wade just got overturned that morning and I was calling all the women in my life just to see how they were and to check on them,\u201d she recalled. \u201cWhen I got to my mom she was obviously distraught, crying,\u201d she explained. \u201cI didn\u2019t think anything of it because she\u2019s a woman, raising a woman in America, and she knows multiple other women who would be affected by this.\u201d However, Vanessa realized that the Supreme Court\u2019s abortion crackdown might not be the cause of her mother\u2019s distress, as when she called her mom two days later, she was still sobbing. That\u2019s when her mom dropped the first bombshell. \u201cShe ended up just telling me after a few minutes, she was like, \u2018I\u2019m pregnant,’\u201d she described. In a follow-up video, she revealed that she immediately blocked her mom and boyfriend after hanging up the phone. She also ended her trip early so she could fly home and move out of her house, where she\u2019d been living with her boyfriend. But when Vanessa arrived at the house, all her belongings had been cleared out. She found out later that it was a ploy by her boyfriend to get her to talk to him.
