But what about reversing the cliche? According to one TikToker, that\u2019s exactly what singles looking for love (or a potential husband) should be doing. Isabel Brown, who goes by \u2018theisabelbrown\u2019 online, posted a video encouraging viewers to \u201cgo for the nerd\u201d as they allegedly make \u201cthe best husbands\u201d. Brown\u2019s video came as a response to another TikToker asking, \u201cWhere the hell do ya\u2019ll be finding these men that are obsessed with you, good fathers, can take care of you?\u201d And Brown\u2019s answer is simple: \u201cThey\u2019re nerds.\u201d She went on to say, \u201cIt honestly blows my mind how we have this entire trope in American literature and movies and TV shows about the nerdy girl who gets the glow up\u2026 but we don\u2019t say that to men.\u201d Nonetheless, Brown swears that it\u2019s the nerds who make the best partners, offering viewers some \u201cgreen flags\u201d to look out for; \u201cIf he owns a lightsaber, green flag.
