He first showed a clip of someone pouring hot water over a windshield in an attempt to defrost it. \u201cWhen you put hot water on a frozen windshield, it will shatter immediately,\u201d Jordan revealed, before supporting this claim with a personal anecdote from his childhood. He recalled being intrigued as a child by how a car windshield would freeze overnight, and believed that pouring hot water onto the glass would solve the problem. \u201cSo I decided to test this on my neighbor\u2019s car,\u201d Jordan recounted, adding that it was a brand new Mercedes that they had just bought. He then filled his insulated water bottle with hot water and poured it over the windshield, only to witness it shatter instantly. Unbothered, the youngster attempted to defrost two more windows on the same car, only to see them break like the windshield had. \u201cThat\u2019s when I figured out it was the hot water.
