Content creator Jordan Howlett (jordan_the_stallion8) is known for sharing game-changing hacks and tips on TikTok, where he has amassed almost 12 million followers. In one of his latest viral videos, Jordan shared some advice on how to defrost a car window. He first showed a clip of someone pouring hot water over a windshield in an attempt to defrost it. “When you put hot water on a frozen windshield, it will shatter immediately,” Jordan revealed, before supporting this claim with a personal anecdote from his childhood. He recalled being intrigued as a child by how a car windshield would freeze overnight, and believed that pouring hot water onto the glass would solve the problem. “So I decided to test this on my neighbor’s car,” Jordan recounted, adding that it was a brand new Mercedes that they had just bought. He then filled his insulated water bottle with hot water and poured it over the windshield, only to witness it shatter instantly. Unbothered, the youngster attempted to defrost two more windows on the same car, only to see them break like the windshield had. “That’s when I figured out it was the hot water. I panicked and left,” he said. Unfortunately for young Jordan, he later got caught as he left behind his water bottle which was marked “Property of Jordan.” Concluding the video, the TikToker advised: “If you wanna make a natural de-icer, just put cold water, isopropyl alcohol, and dish soap. That will make a natural de-icer that has a lower freezing point than water. Spray it overnight, and it should help by making your windows not freeze over.” Many viewers took to the comments to praise this method. “I’ve been telling people about that mixture for years,” one person said. “That’s the Scientific Method right there,” another added. Others, however, were more interested in his anecdote. “Bro busted 3 windows before realizing that it was the hot water, what did the neighbor do to you,” one user wrote. “I heard neighbor’s car and lost it. He knows he wrong,” another commented.

TikToker goes viral for sharing the right way to defrost car windshields TIKTOK: jordan_the_stallion8A TikToker went viral after sharing the ‘right way’ to defrost frozen car windshields, saying that you’re doing it wrong if you’re using hot water.
