TikTok\u2019s Creator Fund was developed to reward the \u201ccreativity and hard work\u201d of its users by providing \u201cmonetization tools and opportunities.\u201d Users who qualify by meeting specific eligibility requirements could take advantage of the Creator Fund to make money via their original TikToks. In hopes of achieving just this, however, one man has found himself on the receiving end of criticism after viewers took issue with his videos being pushed to meet the 1-minute mark. Seemingly unphased, he hit back with a hilarious response. Nick Vogel, who goes by \u2018_nickvogel\u2018 on TikTok, posted in response to a comment claiming his videos were \u201cAlways somehow barely over a minute.\u201d \u201cAnd there\u2019s always somehow 20 of you saying the exact same thing on every video,\u201d Vogel said. \u201cI already addressed this once but I\u2019m going to address it again \u2014 why do you care that I\u2019m making money? Especially when you\u2019re not the one paying?\u201d \u201cFor a video to qualify for the Creator Fund it has to be over 1 minute long,\u201d Vogel explained, stating his videos hit this requirement \u201c95 percent\u201d of the time before the rule was even in place. \u201cI just don\u2019t understand why anyone cares at all. It\u2019s a shame TikTok doesn\u2019t have a salty commenter fund \u2014 you guys would be making bank.\u201d Then \u2014 to ensure his video did hit 1 minute \u2014 Vogel hilariously included a selfie thanking viewers for helping him rack in money as the TikTok continued for a further 30 seconds with backing music. Amused commenters praised Vogel\u2019s humorous response, with one person writing, \u201cThis made me laugh so I stayed the whole minute.\u201d \u201cThe best outro ever!\u201d another stated. \u201cPlease bring this back in future videos! Especially ones under a minute.\u201d It certainly doesn\u2019t seem Vogel will be cutting back on his TikTok times in the near future.
