A night out clubbing and dancing the night away is a great opportunity for many to let loose, test out some new moves, and feel the music. But according to Gen Z, there are some unspoken rules to follow for those looking to get out on the dance floor. One TikToker found this out after dancing with a girl at the club only for her to claim his moves were \u201cgiving away\u201d how \u201cold\u201d he was. Gus, who goes by \u2018goodforthegooch\u2019 on TikTok, posted a video in which he recounted how a night out dancing resulted in a brutal reality check. \u201cI was dancing at the club last night with this girl and she was like, \u2018You know what\u2019s giving away your age?\u2026 You keep putting your hands up,\u2019\u2019 Gus said. Following her comment, Gus said he continued to keep dancing the same without realizing it, resulting in her telling him to stop; \u201cShe like put my arms down and I was like, \u2018I\u2019m too old to be in this club.\u201d Viewers were shocked by the dance rules Gen Z was seemingly adopting, with one person writing, \u201cWhat I noticed in [this] generation [is] they don\u2019t seem to be having fun when they dance\u2026 we had fun not caring what people saw!\u201d Another said, \u201cImagine feeling the music through your body, happily and someone says to change your dancing style bc you\u2019re showing your age??
