Some prefer an intimate and private proposal, whereas others like to go all out and make their moment a public spectacle. But one aspect tends to remain the same \u2014 no one wants to discover their partner\u2019s infidelity mid-proposal. Nonetheless, that is exactly what happened to one TikToker, who took to the social media platform to share her \u2018traumatic\u2019 proposal story. Tiffany Lyn, who goes by \u2018tiffanylyynn\u2019 on TikTok, revealed she discovered her fiance had been cheating on her \u201cright in the middle of his proposal\u201d. \u201cI was madly in love with this man, I was head over heels, would do whatever he said,\u201d Tiffany began, explaining the pair had been dating for two years at the time. In hopes of surprising her with the proposal, he took her to Orlando for a \u201clittle bit of fun at the amusement parks.\u201d \u201cOnce we got to the amusement park he decides to sign up to be a contestant in one of the competition game performances that they had at this park,\u201d Tiffany continued. However, right before the competition started, her partner at the time asked Tiffany to film the competition using his phone\u2026 a request that ultimately led to his antics being exposed. \u201cHe starts to receive text messages that are popping up on the screen \u2014 the text messages turned out to be from his mistress that he\u2019s been messing with the whole time we are together,\u201d Tiffany said. \u201cI guess that morning he had texted her to let her know like \u2018Hey, it\u2019s over between us because I\u2019m about to get engaged today\u2019 and she threw a sh** fit.\u201d Able to maintain composure during the proposal, Tiffany waited to confront her \u201cfiance\u201d once the setting was less public. Realizing he\u2019d been caught, he didn\u2019t deny the affair and instead tried to tell her \u201ceverything that he thought that [she] wanted to hear.\u201d All Tiffany could respond with was, \u201cThis two-carat diamond ring?
