During a November 3 Twitch stream, the godly Tracer main tore into a viewer who claimed Dafran was no longer his hero after he reported a player in an earlier match for being “boosted”. While in the spawn room on Hollywood, the Danish star read his chat and saw that a viewer was upset with his report. “Dafran you’re not my hero anymore,” he read from his Twitch chat. “I don’t give a f***ing s**t. I’m not your f***ing hero. I’m just some sweaty f***ing nerd sitting in a f***ing basement playing computer,” he flamed. “You can go f**k yourself. I’m not your f***ing hero. Go find another hero, are you f***ing stupid or what?” Why did the viewer no longer idolize Dafran? In his prior match, an Orisa player, whose profile was private, didn’t use the Halt ability to pull the opposing team together. “Dude, this Orisa is actually boosted,” Francesca claimed. “I’m nearly sure that he’s boosted.” After the “defeat” screen popped up, the DPS prodigy started replaying what happened in his mind and narrated for his chat. “I use High Noon and he’s saving his pull. He only pulls when I asked for it. He was actually saving his pull while I was High Noon.” High Noon, or Deadeye, is McCree’s Ultimate ability where the hero stands still, but locks onto everything in sight dealing massive damage. Orisa players in high levels normally know to use their Halt to pull the enemy together so Deadeye gets massive value. However, the one in the former pro’s game didn’t use the ability. The angry streamer then proceeded to report the tank player, but nearly hesitated after seeing the player icon. “Oh, s**t he’s Atlanta Reign,” Dafran sighed, as it the icon was for his former team indicating the player may be a fan. “I don’t care,” he shrugged and reported the player anyway for “gameplay sabotage”. It wasn’t just the lack of pulls he took an issue with either. The Orisa player didn’t use Fortify as often as he should have, something the Danish DPS noted. “If you’re going to die all the time without using your shift in a Top 500 game, you don’t belong in there.” Francesca’s antics caused one of his viewers to lose respect for him and wrote that he was no longer their hero. Something the full-time streamer didn’t seem to care about. For his part, the hitscan legend did apologize for his attitude on stream shortly thereafter and wrote out an apology letter on stream for the Orisa player on Volskaya who he targeted. Dafran is no stranger to controversy. The former pro was suspended for in 2017 from all Blizzard events after he deliberately threw games during Competitive Season 5. He is now a full-time streamer for the Atlanta Reign, though he retired from the Overwatch League after playing a single stage in season 2.

Tilted Overwatch streamer Dafran bashes fan for idolizing him Former Overwatch League pro Daniel ‘dafran’ Francesca was left tilted after a tough loss and ripped into a Twitch viewer who claimed the streamer “wasn’t his hero anymore”.
