The incident initially took place on Jan 30, when the Australian streamer pulled up an image of Pokimane on his broadcast, rotated his camera around and made it look as if he was kissing it. When the ever-popular female streamer had heard about it and watched it on stream she just shook her head and moved her camera in turn, blocking the video of him with her hand. Afterward, she laughed it off and many expected that to be the end of it. However, almost two weeks later on Feb 11, Empirrre released a video and shared it on Twitter, apologizing to Pokimane and Twitch, as well as asking the streaming platform to look at his ban appeal. \u201cI\u2019ve been on Twitch for four to five years\u2026 it\u2019s given me a sense of purpose, but recently I\u2019ve found myself banned,\u201d began the Aussie, before diving right into what had happened. \u201cSo, I made a clip, it was a joke that I set up involving a picture of Pokimane\u2026 I put up a picture of her and I kissed her butt. Shortly after I was banned for a day\u2026 [but] I went live the next day and was banned indefinitely.\u201d https:\/\/twitter.com\/Empirrretv\/status\/1227113782868004864 He then went on to give a heartfelt apology to everyone involved. \u201cI\u2019m sorry\u2026 I\u2019m truly deeply f**king sorry if I have offended anybody. It\u2019s been about seven days since I\u2019ve streamed and I\u2019m feeling it, all I have is streaming.\u201d \u201cAll I wanted to do is make people laugh and now I\u2019m banned\u2026 I literally don\u2019t know what to do with myself\u201d he continued, before finishing with a final request for Twitch to look at his ban appeal and one more apology.
