Tyler1 hits back at IWillDominate after \u201cslandering\u201d claims Twitch: tyler1 \/ Twitch: IWillDominateLeague of Legends streamers Christian \u2018IWillDominate\u2019 Rivera and Tyler \u2018Tyler1\u2019 Steinkamp have been caught up in controversy, with the former pro claiming Tyler1 has been \u201cslandering\u201d him. Now, the ADC-turned-jungler has fired back. Tyler1 and IWillDominate have been the subjects of a very public rift this week. Dom, a former pro jungler for Team Liquid, has slammed the solo queue star for \u201cpublicly slandering\u201d him, saying the streamer\u2019s \u201cbanter\u201d in solo queue is outright toxic. However, Tyler1 isn\u2019t taking the claims laying down. The streamer replied to Dom\u2019s remarks just hours after he sent them, saying his fellow jungle main is taking it the \u201cwrong way.\u201d Sparks started flying on March 5 after a viewer in Dom\u2019s Twitch chat asked whether the two streamers were on friendly terms with each other. Once upon a time they were, but things have changed in recent months. \u201cAm I still friends with Tyler? Absolutely not,\u201d Dom asserted. \u201cWhy would I be friends with somebody like that? That would not make sense. \u201cSomebody goes live, publicly slanders you multiple times, lies, you play Twitch Rivals against them, the games you win [against] them they just permanently sh*t talk you, gets their community to sh*t on you permanently. Why would I be friends with someone like that?\u201d He said that Tyler\u2019s conduct in-game, as well as out of it, has stepped over the line of being banter, to the point of being toxic. \u201cThere\u2019s banter between friends, like when me and Moe [Yassuo] banter, you can tell what banter is and when two people really dislike each other.\u201d However, Tyler1 has hit back at Dom. The AD-carry-turned-jungler said Dom was taking his \u201cbanter\u201d too seriously, and his intentions were never to talk down to the former pro. \u201cDom \u2014 no, he\u2019s trolling,\u201d he said. \u201cI don\u2019t even know what to say, he cannot be serious. It\u2019s like when I sh*t talk in all chat, Dom, I don\u2019t hate you. I\u2019m not publicly slandering you, you idiot. You absolute idiot. You don\u2019t need to get triggered, it\u2019s literally banter. \u201cGod, there\u2019s a wrong way to take it, and then there\u2019s a right way to take it. Like me and Nightblue right now are bantering right, and Nightblue is throwing it back, and I\u2019m throwing it to nightblue, like I don\u2019t know what to say, it\u2019s so insane.\u201d The beef between the two streamers has spilled out into the public domain, with everyone taking sides.
