UFC star Paddy Pimblett claims Jake Paul \u201cwouldn\u2019t have the balls\u201d to fight in MMA IG: Jake Paul \/ YouTube: Have A WordUFC star Paddy Pimblett took another swipe at Jake Paul, claiming the YouTuber-turned-boxer \u201cwouldn\u2019t have the balls\u201d to fight MMA because he knows he\u2019ll get starched in the octagon. Pimblett admitted he\u2019d love to fight Jake Paul on two separate occasions. The first instance happened in September 2021 after he called Jake a \u201csausage\u201d and said he\u2019d fight him tomorrow, regardless of the code. Then, after seeing Jake express an interest in doing MMA, he challenged him again on February 14, saying: \u201cIf you want to have an MMA fight, I\u2019ll fight you in my ma\u2019s garden tomorrow.\u201d However, during an interview on the \u2018Have A Word\u2019 podcast, Pimblett claimed Jake \u201cwouldn\u2019t have the balls\u201d to fight in the octagon and compared him to AEW wrestler CM Punk, who failed to impress in the UFC. In response to a question about whether he\u2019s worried that combat sports are becoming too \u201ccartoon-like\u201d because of people like Jake Paul, Pimblett shrugged it off: \u201cThe UFC will never get like that, so no.\u201d He also claimed Jake would never fight in the UFC. \u201cHe wouldn\u2019t have the balls to,\u201d he said. \u201cHe\u2019d get offered it, but he\u2019d turn it down. He\u2019d never fight in the UFC because he knows he\u2019ll get his head punched right in.\u201d Pimblett believes if Jake were to fight in the UFC, it would play out a lot like CM Punk\u2019s brief stint in the octagon, which ended with a loss and a no-contest. \u201cHe was a f**king crab. He got absolutely pasted in both fights.\u201d However, he\u2019s willing to box against him instead, claiming he\u2019d accept an offer in a \u201cheartbeat\u201d and would \u201cpunch his face in.\u201d He also said if Jake ever mocked him in person, he\u2019d \u201cput him right on his toes.\u201d Pimblett slammed Jake for \u2018pretending\u2019 to care about fighter pay too. \u201cHe\u2019s going on about UFC fighter pay like he\u2019s trying to help fighters. He\u2019s not,\u201d he stated. \u201cHe\u2019s just doing it to try and make a c*nt out of Dana. \u201cThat\u2019s all he\u2019s doing it for.
