During the course of their conversation, Valkyrae revealed that she\u2019d actually had a crush on one of her coworkers at GameStop back in the day. Her manager eventually \u201cpressured\u201d the two to date. \u201cWe \u2018dated\u2019 for two months,\u201d she explained. \u201cWe would just walk around and hang out. We were friends. Like, actually friends.\u201d However, she couldn\u2019t help but notice that during this two month period, her \u2018boyfriend\u2019 wasn\u2019t exactly as affectionate as she\u2019d thought he\u2019d be. \u201cHe wouldn\u2019t even hold my hand,\u201d Valkyrae said. \u201cAfter two months, he finally kissed me,\u201d she continued. \u201cWe had a conversation the next week and he was like, \u2018Uh, I just want to let you know that I\u2019ve been really confused and I\u2019m pretty sure I\u2019m not into women.’\u201d Ultimately, Hofstetter was relieved that she was able to help him out and wished him well. \u201cI was like, \u2018Oh, you know what, I could definitely tell, and that\u2019s okay!’\u201d she recalled. \u201c\u2018That\u2019s great.
