Valkyrae is unquestionably one of the biggest names in the streaming world. After leaving Twitch to stream exclusively on YouTube, the 100 Thieves broadcaster-turned-Co-Owner was crowned \u2018Content Creator of the Year\u2019 at the 2020 Game Awards and even became the internet\u2019s most-watched female broadcaster that same year. Boasting over 3.4 million YouTube subscribers, it stands to reason that Rae has a ton of fans who are highly invested in her streaming career \u2014 but sometimes, fans can take things too far. In a July 25 broadcast, Rae revealed that she was \u201cexhausted\u201d due to ongoing drama that she claimed was created by members of her community and other viewers, stating that they\u2019d fabricated tension between herself and fellow streamer Lyndi during a GTA RP session. \u201cI think I am very mentally exhausted from the internet recently,\u201d she admitted. \u201cVery, very exhausted. Apparently, Lyndi \u2014 the girl I was roleplaying with yesterday \u2014 a lot of people were stream hopping and starting some weird, fake drama, saying that she hates me IRL.\u201d \u201cI think it\u2019s my community,\u201d she continued. \u201cMy people \u2014 not just my people \u2014 but a lot of people tend to not differentiate roleplaying vs IRL\u2026 I just feel really bad. I feel responsible.\u201d Rae isn\u2019t the only one who\u2019s spoken out on the drama; Lyndi herself reacted to the rumors during her own broadcast and hit out at those responsible for spreading the drama in a heated statement. \u201cI have never said anything bad about Valkyrae,\u201d Lyndi said after uttering some exasperated expletives. \u201cI f**king love Valkyrae. I watch her streams. I think she\u2019s a f**king woman. She\u2019s a role model. I love her. She\u2019s a boss babe!\u201d \u201cIf you come at me thinking I\u2019ve said anything bad about Valkyrae, you have me all the way f**ked up!\u201d she added. \u201cGrow the f**king hell up!\u201d This isn\u2019t the first time Valkyrae has expressed frustration with the internet and all the drama it can bring; the streamer hit out at demands from viewers in early June, claiming she \u201cfelt like a zoo animal\u201d catering to their whims.
