Hacker is a growing star on the TikTok scene \u2013 he has 4.3 million followers on his main TikTok account as well as 1.4 million followers on his Instagram. Known mostly for his lip-sync videos on TikTok, he has also gained a following by being part of content house Sway Gaming \u2013 which is a spin-off from notorious content house the Sway House. Other big names in Sway Gaming include Griffin Johnson, Quinton Griggs and Kio Cyr. Hacker is also known for being open about his mental health struggles, with him opening up about some of the issues he faces on Twitter as well as on his private TikTok account @imnotvinnie and \u2018pain account\u2019 @itsallpainlmao. A recent phenomenon, \u2018pain accounts\u2019 are essentially private accounts wherein TikTok users vent their frustrations and share their mental health struggles. Even big name TikTok stars such as Nessa Barrett, have their own standalone \u2018pain account.\u2019 However, a recent post on Hacker\u2019s \u2018pain\u2019 account caused him to draw scrutiny from fans. Following the announcement of the election results, which led to widespread celebrations across the US, Hacker posted a now-deleted TikTok wherein he said that while he was \u201csuper stoked\u201d about the election results, he was \u201cstill lonely\u201d. This in turn led to a lot of backlash, with several commenters telling Hacker that this situation was \u201cnot about\u201d him, with one commenter remarking that Hacker was showing a lot of \u201cprivilege\u201d by posting this video. One TikTok user said: \u201cAre you kidding me right now?\u201d In response to this backlash, Hacker deleted the video before posting a series of erratic Tweets. He started by posting that he was \u201cdone with being judged for everything\u201d, saying that he \u201cfelt like he was being constantly watched\u201d before apologizing for posting \u201csuch insensitive content\u201d, reiterating that it was \u201cnever [his] intention to be insensitive to any community\u201d. He then announced that he would be taking a social media break, but soon posted a TikTok to his private account which appeared to depict him sitting in a dark room before telling fans to \u201ccheck [his] Twitter to get a deeper understanding\u201d of the reason behind the TikTok. https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@imnotvinnie\/video\/6892571007173889286 Over on Twitter, he explained that he posted the TikTok to \u201cget a deeper understanding and meanings behind your guys\u2019 disappointment\u201d. He said that he\u2019s not \u201creaching for sympathy\u201d with the TikTok and \u201cunderstands that this is something [he] should be held accountable for\u201d, but he also argued that \u201csome things were taken out of proportion\u201d \u2013 claiming that he got death threats and family threats as a result of posting his original TikTok. While some fans sided with Hacker \u2013 with one Twitter user pointing out that it was \u201ctotally human to make mistakes\u201d \u2013 other fans were more skeptical about his intentions behind the Twitter thread, with one fan arguing that \u201cthe way [Hacker] handles being held accountable is so weird\u201d, speculating that he has a \u201cmanipulative side.
