The alleged production company first shared its plans with Bloody Disgusting, claiming the film would be \u201cgearing up for production and a late 2024 release\u201d with the storyline following \u201ca renowned illustrator and his wife who are haunted by the tragic death of their son, Charlie.\u201d \u201cDesperate to escape their grief, the couple leave the world behind for the remote Scottish Highlands \u2013 where an unknowable evil awaits them,\u201d the plot synopsis continued. And it didn\u2019t take long for other news sites to latch onto the story. But internet sleuths were quick to notice that Kaledonia Pictures has no online presence and doesn\u2019t seem to exist outside reports surrounding the supposedly upcoming film. \u201cI think this might actually be bullsh**,\u201d one person wrote on X. \u201cI tried to look up \u2018Kaledonia Pictures\u2019 and all I found was two separate companies called \u2018Caledonia Pictures\u2019, with a C. Neither of them make movies. The only references I found to the studio were the article linked, and others citing it.\u201d Another said, \u201cOnce again, a singular internet article on one site is being taken as news.
