But not everyone loves them, and they definitely made a fair few enemies on December 9 when they dared to critique one of K-pop\u2019s biggest exports, BTS. Watching one of BTS\u2019 videos, Ethan and Hila discussed the genre, and Ethan was very clear in saying that he just doesn\u2019t understand the appeal. \u201cI don\u2019t get the BTS thing,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m just going to say it right now, I don\u2019t like K-pop. I hate K-pop. I don\u2019t get BTS. How did this become a thing in Western culture, where all these grown men and little girls are jerking off to K-pop boys?
