His rise on the platform has been meteoric in recent years. Donaldson really hit the big time in 2017, and has since flown to nearly 60 million followers across two channels in the last three years. But is there an end of the YouTube road in sight for MrBeast? Well, \u201cdefinitely not,\u201d says the content creator. The internet celebrity has been uploading to YouTube for just over eight years now, and plans on being around for another ten \u201cat least.\u201d As long as YouTube stays big, he added, he\u2019ll stick around making videos for his tens of millions of loyal fans. \u201cI think YouTube will still be massive in a decade\u2026 I\u2019m never taking my foot off the gas,\u201d the YouTube superstar said during a Twitter Q&A on Dec. 29. \u201cTake my current projections, then apply them over 10 years. That\u2019s what I think I\u2019ll hit.\u201d It certainly makes sense too. The YouTuber has gone on the record in the past saying he loves what he does \u2014 \u201cI want to do this until the day I die,\u201d he said back in Nov. 2019 \u2014 and that doesn\u2019t seem to have changed at all in 2020 either.
