In the viral clip, which has amassed 1.9 million views, the TikToker\u2019s partner was kneeling down on one knee while she\u2019s standing in front of him. Block letters in the background spelt out, \u201cWill you marry me?\u201d Courntey\u2019s partner held the ring out inside its box as he proposed, before the eager 29-year-old reached out to grab it, placing it on her finger herself. \u201cNo one, absolutely no one,\u201d the clip overlay text read. \u201cMe: takes the engagement ring and puts it on while he\u2019s still talking.\u201d \u201cIn my defense it was so beautiful I had to put it on right then and there!\u201d she captioned the video, which featured background audio filled with laughter, saying, \u201cOh no, no, no.\u201d TikTok divided over woman\u2019s response to proposal While Courtney may have found the moment funny, many TikTok users slammed the bride-to-be and called her response a \u201chuge red flag.\u201d \u201cRun sir,\u201d one person commented. \u201cI know someone who did this\u2026 they got divorced in five months,\u201d another wrote. \u201cCouldn\u2019t even put her phone away for the proposal,\u201d a third said.
