A horrifying story has gone viral on TikTok. The video in question includes a woman retelling her traumatic experience of having her ear flushed at urgent care only to have a spider crawl out of her ear canal. In the video that has gained more than 29.9 million views, Desirae Kelly told the traumatic story of how she\u2019d gone to urgent care only for the nurses to find a living spider in her ear. After a nurse took a closer look into Kelly\u2019s ear, the health professional confirmed that there was indeed something in there \u2014 and it appeared to be curled up in the back of the woman\u2019s ear canal. Kelly reacted with sarcasm about the \u201cwonderful\u201d news as she waited for her ear to be flushed out. Click here if TikTok doesn\u2019t load \u201cI am so embarrassed, first of all, because that\u2019s so gross, and I\u2019m a clean person,\u201d Kelly told the viewers. \u201cBut also, it\u2019s an uneasy feeling \u2014 there\u2019s a bug in my ear.\u201d The video jumped forward to reveal what had made Kelly\u2019s ear its own. \u201cIt was a spider,\u201d she said through tears and a shaky breath. \u201cIt was alive. I threw up. I\u2019m never sleeping again.\u201d How did the spider get into the woman\u2019s ear? In a second video, posted on October 24, Kelly reflected on her \u201ctraumatic\u201d experience, starting with how she awoke from a \u201cdead sleep\u201d at 5 a.m. with a strange feeling in her ear. \u201cI thought it was the tassels on the end of my comforter, so I went back to sleep,\u201d she said. \u201cAbout 10 or 15 minutes later, I woke up again, and this time \u2026 I actually felt something move in my ear.\u201d Kelly said she sat \u201cstraight up\u201d after feeling the fluttering in her ear and decided to go to Urgent Care as soon as it opened in the morning. As the fluttering continued, with some pain, Kelly compared it to a \u201cbig clump of wax moving\u201d at the base of her eardrum. However, as the nurse went to refill the spray bottle, things started happening. \u201cWe\u2019re not spraying at this point, and I feel stuff moving,\u201d Kelly said. \u201cI felt, whatever that was, crawl out of my ear \u2026 and I watched out of the corner of my eye something fall and land on my sweater. \u201cI should\u2019ve known this wasn\u2019t just a normal little bug when the nurse jumped back a step.\u201d The nurse collected herself and began pulling on Kelly\u2019s sweater to free the bug, which was still alive, from her shoulder. \u201cAs it falls from my shoulder to the floor, I watch it crawl,\u201d she said. \u201cI watch this black spider with all eight legs crawl across the f**king floor.\u201d The nurses confirmed the bug was a common house spider and checked to make sure Kelly\u2019s ear was free of any remnants, including eggs, limbs or \u201cextra buddies.\u201d \u201cBut I am traumatized,\u201d she said. \u201cEvery night since that night, I have had earplugs in my ears.
